Appearance: Blade is an imposing muscular young man. He is very tall, his height being 201 cm. He has sky blue colored long hair and a greenish light blue crystal (Byakugou) on his forehead. His normal outfit consists of a black overcoat decorated with metal cross shaped decoration over the left and right side of the neck, black gloves each with a cross shaped hole and five metal decorations over the knuckles, black office trousers, and black shoes and a belt with a cross mark on the clasp. He also usually wears pentagonal black sunglasses.
A remarkable feature of his appearance is the large black choker engraved with the characters "079.A.B." affixed to his neck. Blade is unable to remove this choker from his body and it has been present since his very birth.
Blade often used to carry a Bible in his hands, giving him a more religious and respectful appearance.
During the time he was wandering from Blackspot to Blackspot alongside with Seth, Blade wore a different style of his current clothes. Instead of the black sunglasses, he used to wear normal glasses, white sleeves with a black cross mark on each one, and metallic shoulder-straps. His overcoat also seems to has a big metallic button at the high of the belt. In someway, his current clothes seem to be an older and more damaged version of these ones.
Abilities: His ability is to copy any technique he is hit with providing it is not item sourced. These abilities are known as Fragments to him. If he uses the crystal on his forehead he can also copy the entire ability not just a single technique. It is up to other players if they wish their ability to be copied or not though keep in mind no weapon based ability is valid for this. The more complex the ability however the less likely he is to be able to use it properly.
He already has several abilities in his repertoire by the time he is taken from. They are as follows:
Kandata String
Blade can create strings from their hands and body to ensnare and cut an enemy. The user can determine the number and shape of the string, ranging from normal thread to cloth and tentacles. The string is strong enough to cut through rock.
Techniques:
Kandata String: The Kandata String fragment's signature technique, and the one which gives it its name. Blade launches threads from his fingertips to entangle or slash the enemy.
Tempest Thread: The Kandata String fragment's most powerful attack. Blade releases hundreds threads in a net formation. This attack is strong enough to shatter rocks.
Honoo
The Fragment main ability is the skill to generate fire, from the user’s hands or body (as seen when Teruyama creates an "aura" of fire around him to negates Kuchinashi Fragrance Fragment effects), however the user cannot breath fire. It was stated by Teruyama that in places with no wind this Fragment triplicates it's explosive power. Both Teruyama and Blade used to use this power to light their cigarettes. In anime filler scenes, they also used it to light a bonfire. For combat, this Fragment has several convenient uses that are list below.
Techniques Blade knows outside of non combat default uses:
Little Boy: Honoo Fragment signature attack. A short range technique. Blade wraps his fist in flame and attacks with it burning and striking the opponent. It was first seen used by Teruyama Momiji against Adam Blade. According to Saten, this technique without its fire is nothing but a simple punch.
Vulcan Shock Ignition: A long range technique. Blade creates a giant fire ball with one hand and launches it to the enemy with devastating effects.
Nuclear Warhead: Vulcan Shock: Blade creates a huge fire ball with both hands and launches it to the enemy with a much higher power.
Kandata String in Vulcan Shock Ignition: A combination with the Kandata String fragment. Blade launches a Vulcan Shock Ignition, hiding in it strings to immobilize and slash the opponent,
Vulcan Shock Little Boy: According to Blade, this move is his original combination ultimate attack. It's the same principle that of Vulcan Shock Little Boy. The difference is in that before doing this attack, Blade has absorbed Agnishwattas' heat energy as he had copied Saten's Fourth Wave Fragment ability previously and managed to control the high temperatures and with this he creates an extra large version of the Vulcan Shock Ignition, giving him an enormous firepower. Tou Kou: Vulcan Shock Little Boy seems to have the same or even high power of Saten's Dai Fourth Wave or Aruka's Agnishwattas. This is the strongest attack Blade used.
Fragrance
Manufactures a unique scent inside of Blade’s body capable of paralyzing the enemy's brain and nerves.
Techniques:
Maiden Restriction: Paralyzes the enemy's brain and causes them to be unable to move.
Speed
The main power of the Fragment is to increase the speed of the user. Although it doesn't increase the user's strength, at high speeds, the attacks can still be strong enough to break metal.
Techniques:
Dean Drive Fox Hound: A barrage of attacks made at Mach 2, and the move Blade uses the most for this ability.
Dean Drive Black Bird: A barrage of attacks made at Mach 3
Power
The main usage of this Fragment is the ability to use an incredible amount of physical strength. This also seems to afford enhanced physical endurance in proportion to the raw physical power this Fragment gives. This can be used in several way such as powerful impact attacks (punches and kicks mainly), throws and use anything in the battlefield to launch to the opponent.
Techniques:
Fragment of Power: Blade activated his Power ability and the attack with the signature monstrous strength.
Planet Crusher: Blade punches his opponent with monstrous strength,
Gravitation
The power of this Fragment is that of increasing the weight of an object or it's surroundings. It can also cause a "shock wave" like effect that can blow multiple targets however it leaves the user open to attacks.
Techniques:
Gyro Gravitation: Releases a powerful gravity shock wave that knocks the enemy flying, then send them back to the ground, causing massive damage when those targets return to the ground due to the increased gravity.
Graviton: Increases the gravity on a person or object.
Gravity Deprive: Weakens the gravity on a person or object.
Magnetic World
The main use of the fragment is in both defensive and offensive, as it shown that it can repel both objects and people away, as well as pulling them near the user. As long it doesn't exceeds over 100 meters.
Magnetic World: Pulls the target near the user. It is also use as a defensive weapon.
Magnetic World: Anti (: The opposite of Magnetic World, it repels the target away from the user.
The Fourth Wave
The fragment usage is actually a Thermal Energy Conversion, which allows Blade to absorb thermal energy and redirect it in various ways. Some of the observed uses include freezing objects by absorbing their heat and creating wind gusts by manipulating the pressure in the air around him.
Fourth Wave: Release absorbed energy as a powerful thermal wave.
Agni Schiwatas
It is consider the most powerful fire fragment ever seen, due to the fact that it can boil metal as well as other fire needless. It is consider a missing link fragment because Blade had a hard time of memorizing it. Also it can be conducted through other materials thus enabling a ranged attack as well.
Techniques:
Heat Explosion: A close combat move where a single touch from the attack instantly inflicts the foe with terrifying heat burns.
Conduction Agni Schiwatas: Engulfs the target in a pillar of intense flame from a distance by transmitting through the ground in a straight line.
Bionic Compressor:
This ability enables Blade to increase air pressure drastically and rapidly. There are no real techniques in the source material for this fragment but it has shown the ability to repel enemies, redirect airborne attacks, slow down fast moving enemies. Like it’s namesake it can also be used to crush down an enemy with massive pressure.
Personality:
While Blade has a serious and respectful appearance, his actual personality is in direct conflict with the image he attempts to project. A sample of this is how Blade distorts verses from his Bible into his own perverse iterations.
Blade is an energetic man with the tendency of reacting violently and unexpectedly. He has constantly raised his voice in a violent shout, laughed at a monster, and due to his strength; tends to destroy his surroundings with raging strikes. This is generally when he is about to take advantage in a fight or order someone to be his slave.
Blade has claimed that he is not the kind of person that helps his fellow man. However, he has helped his friends and other people (especially cute girls) in several situations, such as saving Cruz on various occasions or going to rescue Eve from Simeon's hands without thinking about the consequences. In spite of himself, Blade remains a compassionate human being who retains a strong sense of justice.
He doesn't believe in god though he does make himself out to be one from time to time mostly against his enemies. He also has no qualms about butchering bible quotes to suit his personality and beliefs.
He is extremely strong willed and always aims beyond the top saying that one should never aim too low or they would never be great.
His behavior is erratic and borders on feral rage, particularly when he is in a fight or chasing cute girls.
However despite his claims he does have some modicum kindness and wisdom, which is often overshadowed by his idiocy, but is apparent when in the heat of battle.
Strengths: Even without a fragment, Blade possesses strength beyond that of a normal human holding off one of the enormous robots known as Testaments, with nothing but his bare hands. This was before he learned Mio's Power fragment.
Being an artificially engineered human experiment, Blade's body was reinforced in many ways one of them being the orichalcum augmentation of his bone structure.. His organs are also reinforced partially. This in turn means he can take a lot of punishment and injuries that would kill most people and simply shrug them off and keep coming.
He is a battle genius, able to come up with tactics and schemes on the fly. Some of these plans do end up being less than conventional but his ability to judge the flow of battle is definitely high tier. This is further enhanced by the creativity he possesses when it comes to combining different fragments
Weaknesses: Blade is obsessed with little girls, to the point that he will immediately ask these girls on a date, or promise to be their slave. In fact, Eve has stated that Blade's only weakness is "girls". He is often seen having nosebleeds and stated that panty shots of girls are a totally different thing. In fact, everything surrounding little girls makes Blade go out of his mind. However, all of the obsessive characteristics of Blade's personality are mostly for comical effect. In spite of it all, Blade will not hesitate to fight cute girls if his life or the lives of his comrades are in jeopardy.
He is generally smart but he can quickly become an idiot when the situation concerns minor issues and lolis

Wait a....if this is paradise why is it so plain? And where are all the girls wearing nothing but knee socks and gloves?
[He finally spots the device that's been recording him the entire time.]
A phone? It's not Eve's. Too slick looking.
[Picking it up and examining a little closer.]
Let me guess, the kidnapper's going to call me through this in the next few minutes then he's going to give me some random riddle, just like in those movies we rented last april.
Well you clearly don't know who you're messing with, you filthy maggot.
[The device gets thrown across the room and falls on its side as it shows Blade facing the wall. His fist are suddenly engulfed in flames]

[And there is a violent explosion as smoke and debris is flung all around. A piece probably flew into the device as it cuts out quite suddenly]
Third Person Sample:
Another peaceful day. Blade could hear Yamada's desperate cries for help as Eve was chasing him about the church to get him to go and buy more of that high calory drink she always had to take. He let out a puff of smoke from the cigarette he'd just lit with a flick of his thumb. Handy fragment he got his hands on. Interesting how things started picking up the moment he fished that kid from the sewers. Cruz huh. First that emo looking spider creep then this idiotic hot head who didn't know his place. Well their Fragments would come in handy so really Blade couldn't complain.
Blade didn't know what to make of the kid just yet. He was weak. So much so it was almost a sin. How he survived all this time in the black spot was beyond him. Probably something to do with that sister of his whose picture he had in that locket. Yeah that's probably it. Still the kid had the smarts required to survive in this place. He was no dumbass even if he'd confused him for this Arclight guy whoever the hell he was. You'd think he'd run into him before or seen his face but so far the only clue Blade had were the descriptions from Cruz and Teruyama.
A black choker with a number code and two letters...that was too spot on to not get his interest. He had one of those chokers himself but the thing was he didn't remember there ever being someone else with one. Gido had been specifically vague in the past every time he asked about what had happened before they lost their memory. In the end it didn't really matter. Wouldn't change who he was now. Wouldn't change who he would be.
Just then he felt the cigar break off the heat being a little too much too fast.
"Ah..." Well now that was a problem. Blade reached into his pocket and pulled out the smokes pack...only to find that it was completely empty. He crushed the useless pack and set it on fire, reducing it to ash. He stood up from the church bench just as Cruz was running down the aisle. Right on time~
"Yaaaa-maaaa-daaaa." Blade's voice sounded like that of the devil himself as he stomped his way towards the now cowering Cruz.
"You haven't forgotten have you? You are now my slave. That means you have to earn your keep." It was too much fun making the boy squirm and cry.
"Quite your sniveling and whining. Just hurry up and-" All around Blade there are now strings swaying back and forther before lunging at the cowering boy's face. "GO BUY ME MORE SMOKES, YAMADAAAAAA!"

He crushed the useless pack and set it on fire, reducing it to ash. He stood up from the church bench just as Cruz was running down the aisle. Right on time~
"Yaaaa-maaaa-daaaa." Blade's voice sounded like that of the devil himself as he stomped his way towards the now cowering Cruz.
"You haven't forgotten have you? You are now my slave. That means you have to earn your keep." It was too much fun making the boy squirm and cry.
"Quite your sniveling and whining. Just hurry up and-" All around Blade there are now strings swaying back and forther before lunging at the cowering boy's face. "GO BUY ME MORE SMOKES, YAMADAAAAAA!"
